A fourth committee meets infrequently under the broad remit
of Finance and General Purposes. The main task is to set a
budget for the next financial year and the timetable for
this process means that in October and November decisions
are made on proposed expenditure for the financial year
commencing the following April.
All decisions by committees are really recommendations to
the Council. Full Council meetings are held on the third
Monday of each month (not August). Members of the
public can attend these meetings and all committee meetings
and will have the opportunity to speak if they let the
chairman know their intentions in advance.
The Parish Council aims to ensure that Gerrards Cross
remains a pleasant place to live. The main way it does so is
by keeping in contact with any person or organisation
that wishes to make improvements which it helps to promote
to enhance the satisfaction of residents.
The Parish
Office (South Lodge, East Common, by the entrance to the
Memorial Centre) is open, and the clerk is available, on
Monday between 9am and 1pm, on Tuesday between 9am and 1pm and on Thursday between 9am and 1pm. You
can ring us on 01753 888018.
Our clerk, Diana
Hepburn-Park or the assistant clerk, Anita Mitton will
always be happy to speak to you. You can email us at:-
